I am going to start blogging on all the birds we find on the property! It is such a great place to bird watch (birding.) We want to document all the species that we find so we can keep a record.

I’ve owned many bird breeds in my life, from Cockatiels to Cockatoos, but seeing them in nature is such a special thing. From the enchanting song of a songbird to the screeches of an owl.

Steller Jay: This little guy, is pretty much always in one area of the property. For a wild bird he sure does not mind us at all & is super curious. He also tries to steal any crumbs the toddlers leave unattended! I’ve read that they are excellent mimics and can even learn to bark like a dog! We find beautiful blue feathers often on the property but we were lucky to be able to catch this shot of this guy!
